I picked up Cars for PS2 for $0.47 at Sears a couple weeks back. Anyone who wants that may be better off checking there.

What is up with the PlayStation-related deals?

First the $200 trade-in credit for any PS3, now the 30% extra on PS3 game trade-ins and discounts on some meh PS2 titles.
 
2 questions could someone plz answer fast. But um does this work on each game or just the total amount plus the 30% and last question could you take back a game that you traded in to gamestop. i did my first trade a gamestop and was pretty pissed because of the little value i got so i want to go and get my games back then go there between the dates and get 30% more value

The receipt should show the promo applied to each game when you trade them to gs (make sure this is the case before signing). No, unfortunately once you sign your name on the transaction it's a done deal.
 
It'll be off each game's base. No you can't take the games back just because of low values. Once you sign that pad or finalize the transaction it is binding. You are no longer the owner of that game.

You should not be trading in low value games where gamestop only gives you $7 or less just keep those. I traded in Heavy Rain and MLB 10 the show during the last 50% trade in special and got a total of 75. These deals are the best time to do them. I plan on trading in Fifa WC and FF13 I should get around 50.

My Gamestop makes you sign before they tell you how much you got.
 
Sometimes I sign before too. They tell you its just so you agree that its your copy that you are trading in. That way if you bring in a bunch of stolen games they are responsible. So its not to finalize the deal.
 
Nice, traded in 3 games today (total trade amount after promo and edge):

Dead Space $8.40 (picked up for $10 on EA's site)
Red Dead Redemption $37.80 (picked up for $35 used on gamestop.com)
Blur $32.20 (picked up for $12 at Best Buy)

All in all some great trades, pretty much got to play the games for free and made some cash on them.

They always tell me they have no idea how much you'll get til you sign.
 
Well they dont tell me that, just one time I wanted to see how much a trade in was and he said to sign, and I kinda hesitated like I thought it was going to be final but he said dont worry we just have you to sign so you verify that the copy is yours.

That's total BS, I used to work there and you can see it right there on the damn screen how much a customer will be getting back. Tell them to hit F4 or something to update the screen with the promos.

It's always funny to tell them how much you'll get and they say there is no way. You nail the value within $2 and they either have a look of shock or just this "I hate you." look. It's great.
