Found near Michigan State University. The manager also said he expects GS to have more big deals in the near future as his regional said this was their worst quarter he had ever seen. Also the manager had not heard anything about the Buy 2 Get 1 weekend 7/16-7/19

I saw the flyer but the manager would not let me take one with.

everyone is thinking way too hard into this. ill just stick with B2G1. not to mention, i only have to buy in 3s. i normally always get at least 6, but its nice to have the option not to have to buy 6 to take full advantage of the deal.
 
It is better than the B2G1 if you only want one or two games. The cheap stuff can be used for future trades.
 
This is slighlty less of a deal on 6 games by 3.33 percent however they didn't raise prices on games like they do with b2g1 also mirrors edge 360 came up 17.99 and I found this deal in michigan no where near a university
 
I can confirm this *IS* a valid deal, at least at one Detroit-area store. The employee told me he was told that our district is a test area for this promotion.

I would suggest again that the tread title is in desperate need of some clarification. Can I suggest:

"Gamestop REGIONAL Used Game Sale - Buy 2/4/6 used games save 10/20/30% -- YMMV"

Also, the promotion is scheduled to run until 8/2/09, I saw a copy of the promotional flier in the promo binder behind the counter.

Called 3 GS in Cleveland, OH and this deal is a no go. I'm assuming the only participating GS are the MI surrounding cities.
 
I can also confirm this is working in northern Indiana (Elkhart, to be exact) as well as the Metro Detroit area.

Few people look at the regional deals pages, so this does very few people any good there. What this thread does need is a title update, please see above for my suggestion.
 
Well, I can confirm for several Michigan (Southeast Detroit stores), everything in the Westland/Canton area had signeage up for the deal. I actually participated.

Last Remnant - 360
Pikmin - Wii
Order of the Phoenix - Wii
Resident Evil 0 - Cube
Spyro - DS (game for wife who wanted it)
Madden 05 - Xbox (filler $1 game)

Not bad, out the door for under $70. Though, arguable on whether bad or not, since I really went with my 20% off coupon to buy Last Remnant, so either a good deal overall or I'm out an extra $50.

must only been around there cause it was not working in fort wayne or kendullville
