gs/eb getting rid of n64 and ps1 on 4/12

DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY READ THE POSTS!! They aren't stopping taking these in! Whoever posted this first didn't have any clue what they were talking about.

Take your own fucking advice dude, some of us talked to multiple managers and confirmed it's stopping on June 1st. I was just as skeptical myself at first, but now there is no doubt.
 
Gonna bump this since GameStop/EB just got new standees that say June 1st is the last day. I know were gonna get a rash of posts fairly soon regarding it.
 
I was at EB earlier today, and they had the signs you speak of.

I got Smackdown 2. When I got home, I saw it had a crack. I was bummed.

I'm really ticked off at GS/EB. While I have most of the good N64 games, I missed the entire PSX era. Now it's going to be ridiculously hard for me to find PS1 games. Way to go EB/GS.

I found some moderately good deals on PSX stuff at EB, simply because the prices on Ebay for them are so absurd. Looks like I'll have to do a PSX run at a couple EB's in the next week or 2, then I'll have to hope I find them elsewhere.
 
Only good news about PS1 games becoming extinct is that PS2 games should start getting cheaper. G-stop has rip off prices right now in my opinion on most ps2 games.
 
Only about a week left, PsOne and N64 games are disappearing! Maybe I'll get lucky and pick them up soon, but maybe people will start dumping them at thrift stores for me to find. :)
 
I probably had my last good GS/EB PS1 find yesterday, a complete/mint copy of Tales of Destiny. This was the first time in months that I had used the store lookup to locate a game and was actually able to find it in-store.
