I went in to GS to look around today and saw that they had a "What's Hot in Gaming" pamphlet siting on the counter in front of the register.
(It has GTA4 on front with a picture of Niko, on the back is the coupon for 20% and picture of :ps3:GT:p)

Yeah i know they advertised it last week for GTA4, but i was waiting for MGS4 to become part of the deal.

yes it is $35 base price or at least it was tuesday...
TMNT for 360 was $6 base and $7.80 after 30% bump didn't want either so I traded both towards GTA.

 
This is why I hate going into GameStop around any major game releases. The shelves are covered in disc only games, most of them 5+ copies of the same shitty ones. Seriously, I went in to look at the Gamecube section on Tuesday and about 4 out of the 30 games there had their original boxes. The Xbox section had about 15 out of 50.

aww poop...If I knew they were gonna drop the TIV for it I would have traded my copy in towards MGS4 LE. Hmm... $30/$3/$6= $39 now. To trade in SSBB or not...

I didn't even think about that, I was in my GS today and they seemed to have an unusually high # of PS3 games. Like atleast 3 copies of almost all games. Didn't put 2 and 2 together.

Usually they have all the games front of case OUT, today they had more than half the USED, showing the side of the case only. This is a pretty large store, comparec to the one in the mall across the street so I was surprised.

If only GS actually lowered the price as they got more copies, it would be nice, but nope, they will only drop when they see a serious drop in sales (Ex. Gears of War was $54.99 with about 20 copies on the shelf at 3 different GS 3-6 months after release.)
