Use coupon code DEAL25U along with SAVER and your Edge card to land this game for around $18. Probably doesn't deserve it's own topic, but I figure some people will be interested in this with the current promotion. Can't pass up ToV for $18.xx with guaranteed box & manual! Here is a direct link to the listing:

Currently OOS. Will update when it is available again.

WTF do people do with the case and manuals that we can't get them with the disc? Are people eating them? Even as a young kid, I would cherish my games, everything stayed mint.

Everything game should guaranteed with case and manual!

It hurts me to see discs laying around art-up. Really makes me think about who I'd lend my things to, because if they'd do that with their stuff, imagined what they do with yours.

Don't knock it 'till you try it. Each console case tastes different.
You have to buy two games? That ruins it.
Even if that were the case, you could pair it with a $.99 game. I placed the order this morning with Vesperia as the only game in my cart.

Not having any clue of how it will arrive in, no thanks. There were some seriously beat up used condition games I have seen in person.

The nearest used copy is over 50 miles away. I'm definitely willing to take my chances. I bet some people end up with the premium edition!

My gf's mom used to toss her game cases etc when she was younger... and Hollywood/Blockbuster/etc flips often don't have cases, etc.

hmmm, is this deal only for gamestop.com? or is there a way to get that 25% off deal at the gamestop store as well?

edit: whoops, i just saw the print-out coupon on the other gamestop thread

I dont trade in to game stop , so do they give the same amount of credit whether or not the game has the manual and case?

I think they used to give a bit less credit without book/case way back when (n64/psx days?), but they don't care now. As long as the game looks to be in playable condition, you get full TIV.

And ToV is OOS again =( I was really thinking about ordering it last night but it was late so I figured I'd order in the morning... Guess I figured wrong =P

In the past it doesnt matter. Now they might charge a refurbish fee if you are missing case but it is really up to the store.

When they guarantee the box and manual, they have the manual, and not always the original box...you certainly aren't guaranteed the cover art, and I won't buy a game without that!

I'm pretty sure they mean the original case that came with the game and not a generic replacement.

Well the few times I've ever traded in a disc-based game to GameStop I'd keep the case and throw out the manual and insert. If they're not giving me more money/credit for trading those things in what do I care if you get them?

I wouldn't buy a used game without a case and manual, and you shouldn't either. Which is why you really should spend your money on eBay where the games are in much better shape and a lot cheaper.

Wow, that's really shitty. Way to punish people because you're mad GameStop didn't give you enough money or whatever. I've bought used games off eBay before and found that depending on the circumstances they are regularly neither in better condition, nor cheaper. Plus at least you can check the condition of the disc at GameStop, people on eBay have no idea how to accurately describe their shit. A game that looks like you drove over it in a car with snow chains on is not "near mint".

The funny thing is, I know alot of games that are sold on ebay come from Gamestop.
