GS/EB Coupon/Used Deal of the Week FAQs - thanks oscargrouch
  • Coupon is valid in store (B&M Locations) only, it does not work online.
  • Just print the coupon, not the whole ad.
  • Coupon can be printed from this thread by right clicking on the image, selecting view image, then pressing print.
  • Coupon DOES NOT stack with any other offer, except EDGE cards.
  • Coupon will be valid on the start date of the weekly ad, not earlier. (YMMV on if the employees will do manual override, not recommended.)
  • The EDGE card takes 10% from the original price of the Used Deal of the Week, not the promotional price.
  • Used Deal of the Week is considered a promotion so it will ONLY stack with the EDGE Card, nothing else.

Man, these coupons suck. I haven't been to GS since around thanksgiving. And there wasn't enough to take advantage of the B2G1 so I walked out.

Probably not for quite a while. Have you been to a gamestop lately? Most of the sections are still wiped clean. The Gamestops I have been to look nothing like they normally do in the Wii and 360 sections.

Anyways.

Which Transformers is that? Is that the game to the first movie?

that's a good question....can't speak to other regions but i hit up a lot of gamestops in philadelphia and neighboring suburbs, new jersey and delaware and no matter what store i go in all of them have been picked clean since the holidays. even if they had b2g1 next week all my stores have nothing to sell......i do wonder if anyone else is seeing the same thing.
 
Sad, I thought it said 30% off DS games at first.... Aren't they still running trade in 3 DS games get 10 bucks? Not to sure this coupon would be better then that promo for to many games outside of first party Mario games and anything that came out 2 weeks ago.

Just bought a xbox 360 elite from GS this January. Any chance of getting the gift card.

Was going to wait in case of GS doing a special but really did not think they would.
 
I'm sure they're trying to build up their inventory again... they had so many B2G1F sales last year, they probably think they need to get more games. But it's funny, because all my GSes are full of crappy games.
 
I would jump on the Elite deal but I unless I can somehow use that $50 gift card for the purchase transaction, it's not even a lukewarm deal to me. But even say that is a farfetched statement as I always recalled GS NEVER had a good deal ever.
 
Gamestop definitely needs to bring back the 20-25% off current gen coupons and to get rid of the really old crappy games they should run a sale where they discount shovelware games 50-75% off. Seriously. Imagine a Gamestop with all relevant games and good coupons. It'd be a CAG's dream come true :)

I would like to get more but I'm kind of hesitant about trading more than 3 copies since they've probably say something. (Also run a risk of getting my credit taken again.)

how did you get your credit taken? (i only ask as I'm about to go on a 15 store trip to trade my copies) yes i bought a lot but i had to go to 5 different stores so it's turned into a whole day trip for me.

They are not going to take your credit, don't worry about it. I've been flipping games to gamestop for over 2 years and if you spread your trade ins over a bunch of stores you will be fine.

They didn't exactly take it. Something happened (wasn't told the whole story) at one of the stores that I visited. Good thing I still had my previous receipts. I was able to prove that I hadn't purchased anything. The tracked it down to a store near my job. (First time going there and might be my only time doing so.)
 
all is good. after traveling for 7 hours today I finished up and was able to buy a DSi with all of the trade-ins. A free DSi is a good thing.
 
Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many times you can use the coupon? Went to four different stores today trading SBD, first three no problems. Last one the guy could not get it to work but just added the amount on manually. Then again that guy at the last store taking care of me did seem a little out of it lol.
 
^There should be no limit since all the coupons share the same coupon code. I used it six times at 6 different stores without an issue.
 
For those still with copies of Sudoku Ball Detective, today's the last day for the 30% DS coupon. The TIV for SBD is still at $9.10 after the coupon and Edge card. I traded one in today and on the counter were 2 copies of SBD that someone had just traded in. :lol:
