Boom Blox Bash Party has a reported MSRP of $49.99...but I just noticed it listed with a $10 price drop on GS.com. Whether this is an updated MSRP or what, I'm not sure...but if you want it on day one and want to lock in the $39.99 price, here ya go:

Caveat emptor. I can't guarantee that it won't be $39.99 everywhere on release day and, if so, that some retailer will have a better price.

Will wait for th price to go down.

Keep in mind that Gamestop doesn't "lock in the price". Pre-ordering at $39.99 will not mean that you will buy it at that price if the game is released at $49.99.

Remember that Gamestop sold the pre-orders of Halo 3 Legendary Pack at $99.99. When the game's price was raised, the final price at pick-up was raised as well.

I would think that if you payed for the preorder in full at the $39.99, they wouldn't charge you the extra $10 if it goes back to $49.99 on release day. I could see them doing that if you only put $5 down. Then again, this is GS we're talking about...

Trust me, they still charge you. When we ring people out for pre-orders it rings the game at full price (unless you wait long enough for it to go on sale/drop in price) and then your pre-order money is taken off of that. If you pay the "full" 39.99+tax, then you'll still owe the $10+tax if the game winds up being $49.99.

i dont get why people pre order things when games dont come with bonuses and/or will be readily avail. its not like a game in modern history has sold out (with the exception of limited editions, ce's, etc.)
