GTA Double Pack (PS2) $11.69 [Like New] @ hitmenow.com
"Like New," otherwise known as "used."
i first heard about hitmenow from the animeondvd forums and ordered from them without problems a few times. they items arent used as in someone traded them in, they buy their inventory from distributors or stores that go out of business, have excess stock, etc. i think theyre now affliated with sam goody and suncoast since you can use ur replay card. sometimes the stuff they send is still sealed even tho it says not sealed. theres a thread about them at dvdtalk.

I'll never buy from these cocksuckers again. I used to buy a lot of items from them, then they changed ownership.

Last time I ordered from them I ordered several copies of a "brand new" N64 game. All of the games had been repackaged, some of the boxes were beat up, and two of them were missing some extra accessories that came with them (I weighed the boxes). I contacted them about this. They offered no explanation for their fraudulent description, or for the fact that some of the boxes were light. This was the reply they sent:

"Here is a return mailing label. We'll give you a refund once we receive the items back."

However, there was no return mailing label in the e-mail. I naturally assumed that this was an oversight, so I e-mailed them back. They didn't reply for a couple days, so I tried again. I tried to contact them several more times, by phone, and by e-mail. When you call their phone they have an answering machine, but they never answered my message. They also never replied to any of my e-mails. By the time I figured out that I was going to need to claim to my CC company that they had ripped me off, it was too late to do it.

If you buy from these guys, make sure you're prepared to risk losing your money for an item that is not complete, or damaged, because you will never get a refund out of these assholes.

Don't expect the best customer service if you have any problems with your order. I've ordered several times in the past from HitMeNow with the following problems:
1) Front Mission 4 (Like new, not sealed) - game was missing the manual
2) XBox Morrowind (Like new, not sealed) - the game disc was literally cracked in two when I received it. There was nothing wrong with the package, so the disc was most likely that way before they shipped it.
3) Arc the Lad Collection (Like new, not sealed) - disc 1 was cracked, but everything else was in very good condition. I ended up keeping this for the game extras.
4) Several Gameboy/Gameboy Color games (Brand new, factory fresh) - the games they sent were actually 'Like new, not sealed' and 'Used, good condition'. Customer service never responded to any of the emails I sent.

I just got my order from them (from the DVD deal I posted), everything came sealed (was marked "Like New" on the website), so I'm pleased with them...
