GTA:LCS Custom Soundtrack?

Has anyone figured out
how to put songs on GTA:LCS yet?

I tried to put mp3 on my memorystick
but the option stays grayed out.
If you have done it can you give me
instructions because there is
nothing in the manual.
Or if there is a website I miss
because I googled it and
searched here and the
usual game sites with no luck.
 
Word on the street is that you have to beat a certain mission (I don't know which one, I'm assuming you have to kill a DJ or blow up a station) to unlock the custom soundtrack option.
 
Is the OP supposed to be a haiku or some such poem? That's some weird spacing, partner. But, to answer your question, I haven't found out yet.

Yeah I found the answer
in another forum.
Basically the guy called
Rockstar and they said
it would be added as
a downloadable.
 
you can now put in a custom radio station.

A few notes:
1) The program converts music into a format the game can process(security reasons?)
2) You must have the original CD in your cd-rom drive to rip it (No copys)
3) Apparently, after you do this, the normal radio stations are unaccessable until you delete your custom soundtrack.
 
Thanks for the info. Too bad it sounds like a big fat waste of time. Besides, the radio stations they have in there kick ass.
