GTA San Andreas 29.99 after $20 mail-in rebate NEW

Whats the better version to get? The other GTA games I've played where on the PS2, and I always hear that the Xbox version is better. Anyone think that I should stick to the PS2 version cause I'm used to it, or should I move to the Xbox?

The XBox version is slightly better, but it's probably not worth switching if you're used to the PS2 one. It's less of a quality leap than GTA III and VC were from PS2 to XBox.

I think that all depends on what's important to you. As with previous versions of GTA before SA, I got the PS2 versions, later buying the XBox double pack. I liked the graphic upgrade and the custom sound tracks. That being said, the PC version I hear is the best looking, and best playing (depending on your choice of control). I personally had rather have the XBox version so I can play it sitting on my couch with the home theater sound. If I had a choice between PS2 and XBox, I'd get the XBox for the above reasons. In GTA 3 and VC, I really didn't have any trouble adjusting to the different controller. I can't say as far as SA, since I haven't played the PS2 version.

XB version looks better & has better loading times plus custom soundtracks, but damn those drive bye's, you have to hold either the white or the black plus A or B simple if you have OGRE hands, easiest way to avoid it is using motorcycles lol

I think also that the PS2 version has the 'Hot Coffee' stuff on it while the Xbox doesn't (I haven't heard anything about it at least.) Would make it worth more I would think for re-sale.

*Edit* checking around some... seems like there is a hot coffee mod for Xbox but some have claimed it only works for modded Xbox systems. FWIW
