Yes, and I had the same reaction as you.

At the Nickelodian Kid Awards she danced with s tripper pole, so nothing would shock me.
I can't find a good VHS of Badlands
I know I had one on my mum's pc back at her house, if you can't find one I'll see if it's still there over the weekend.

I shit you not, I ordered a dvd burner from Newegg at 8 AM this morning and it was sitting on my doorstep when I got home at 5 from their Jersey Warehouse.
Stop watching those streaming donkey shows.
Ahhhhahahahahahaha. Haaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha.
So i'm actually going to watch The human Centipede.
It's really not bad at all. The concept was really gross and entertaining, but the execution was so-so.

So my grandma is going to buy me a netbook for college. Since she's paying for it, I want to shop more for the best possible specs (battery life, keyboard size, etc.) than for hot deals. So what manufacturer should I be looking at? I don't really know where to start since, for once, I'm looking for something other than the cheapest option.

I am waiting for the Asus 1201 PN. It's not out yet, but it looks amazing. Should be out this summer.

A friend has the Asus 1201n, pretty nice. Has a 12 inch screen, pretty good battery life from i remember. Either way i'd buy Asus, every other company always seems to be riding Asus' coat tails when it comes to netbooks.

First, I recommend not buying a netbook. Only buy it if you plan on using it as a 21st century typewriter that can also grab your email.

If you are still want a netbook, there aren't many options. The last time I checked up on netbooks, the best ones had the Intel Atom processor and maxed out at 1GB of RAM. Unless I'm already out of the loop, that's what you'll want.

I recommend the HP netbooks, my cousin has one and it does him well; looks pretty sturdy. Toshiba is also a good brand. I have always had Toshiba laptops (just a coincidence) and they were both well constructed.

EDIT: As others said, Asus is also good for netbooks. I don't really like their laptops though.

Awesome, a PS3 system update and it's not even my PS3

:wall:

Alienware M11x

1201n looks pretty nice. I'll keep an eye on Asus products. Thanks.
Alienware M11x
I saw that a little while ago. Looks bulky and the battery life would probably be really terrible, though I don't actually know if that's the case or not. It's also kind of really expensive for what it is, it seems. $800?

Why not get one of those $800 MSRP Alienwares? I think they even get decent battery life on top of being able to play modern PC games.

Yeah if you want to game, then get the Alienware M11x. Although I don't know how practical it would be for college.

See above. That seems really expensive and looks really bulky. I dunno. I've always been averse to Alienware stuff.

Dallow recently got something Alienware, I think. You might want to ask him.

All done with school! You have no idea how glad I am to just have two weeks away from it.

So what is everyone doing for Cinco de Mayo? I plan to head up to the bar to watch Los Suns game where there will be 1$ Coronas and tacos. I just hope it's not too packed.

Drinking mint tea and thinking I should be playing a video game, pick a few up and look at the covers, put them back on the shelf, and then sit around until its time to go to bed.
So what is everyone doing for Cinco de Mayo?
Watching Cardinals/Phillies, dinner, then South Park.
I need to start Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper.
Always thought that would make an awesome movie.

I love crossovers. Flintstones and the Jetsons, Freddy vs Jason, Aliens vs Predator, old Ninja Turtles and new Ninja Turtles... I wish it would happen more often. Battlestar Galactica and Firefly would be at the top of my list.
