I really didn't want to pay $40 for just an expansion, they sold the stand alone games for that price when they first came out too. It's ten dollars less here plus a headset for MMO programs like Ventrillo, and the website might not be too bad either.

About Guild Wars expansion, keep in mind -- it's probably longer than most stand-alone game.

Plus, no monthly subscription MMO fees either.
