I was in my local Guitar Center today and they had about roughly half a dozen PS2 and Xbox 360 Guitar Hero III bundles (with 1 guitar) for $39.99. It's only this Labor day weekend, and it's only in-store.

Limited to stock on hand so you may want to call first.

Im curious as well although if mine has either I will more than likely jump on it but I would much rather have the Les Paul.

I just remember the Xbox360 guitar on the box being white. I don't remember the ps2's model.
There were no Wii bundles at my store. (YMMV at other stores though.)

I stopped by Guitar Center this morning.

The Xbox 360 bundle for $39.99 includes the white wired guitar.

The PS3 wireless bundle was also on sale for $69.99

The sale goes on until tomorrow.

I also noticed that the Rock Band bundles were still on sale.

$99 for the Xbox 360

$69 for the Playstation 2

I went to check also and they had the same thing except the PS3 wireless guitar hero bundle had a price tag of $39.99 but I could be mistaken because the $69.99 tag was also there, weird!.

Went to a guitar center just because it was next to sears and saw the rock band bundle for 360 for $100, and the same price for ps2. Also they had tons of the ps3 guitar hero 3 wireless bundles for $40, one of which I purchased, and a few wired for 360. I did not see any wireless 360 bundles.

BTW this was the store by Northgate Mall in Durham and you can add the wireless ps3 to the OP for $40 if you have the chance, although I guess it's ymmv as usual.
 
The wireless ps3 was at my location but only wired 360 ones both were 39.99. I went to Best Buy and price matched so I could get the les paul for 360.

Ah screw Guitar Center, by the time I factor in my tax and time to get there, it'll be cheaper for Wally World to send it to me. Thanks for the update!
 
So Guitar Center STILL has this deal going on even though it's not their anniversary anymore? Hmm...I might have to check out the closets one this week...
 
I know this deal is over with but I wanted to thank the OP for bringing it to my attention. I went monday to my local Guitar Center (and lemme tell ya it's weird being in there if you aren't a musician. Then again I'm weird) and they only had a PS3 version left. So I went to my walmart and asked if they price match, and if I had an ad, they would.
So I went back to Guitar Center and they had a listing of all the deals going on, which I then took back to my walmart. After some talking to the management and disbelief ("are they REALLY selling it for $40?!") I left with a 360 bundle for $40.
So again, thanks for the heads up.
