Guitar Hero 2 pre-order bonus

you get a free exclusive guitar pick if you order at gamecrazy (you get the guitar pick when you pick up the game)
since when is the guitar hero 2 guitar red? badass!

now i have to buy a 3rd guitar! haha
Since always I guess. It's interesting to note that (as someone else pointed out to me) this is Red, but not *Cherry Red*, as they had sold previously (it was shiny). So those cherrys are collector's items now I guess.

Do you know if you have to order the bundle to get the pick? I've already got the original SG and the wireless Flying V and don't need a 3rd guitar.

_Wow_.

They know not all gamers are XL. That's amazing.

I'm not at all sure best buy realize that, though. I still have a never-worn XL pong shirt that they claimed was a "one size fits most". Yeah, right.

In a choice between a t-shirt and a guitar pick, it's no contest.

Eh, I wear XXL and the largest is XL...useless unless I want to show off my belly button. Don't play guitar so a guitar pick isn't really useful to me. I was hoping for something cooler, like an exclusive strap for the guitar controller or a guitar controller storage bag or something.

I wonder how small the small shirt is? Most regular "mens" style shirts that are marked small absolutely eat me alive. I would hop on this deal if the shirt was guaranteed not to look ridiculous on me. Im 5'3"/98lbs. And a gamer! And definitely not anywhere near a XL... or onesizefitsmost (yeh rite).

I'm having a serious problem with this coming out on the 360, and not because I hate Microsoft or whatever.

I've been looking forward to GH2 since I played the first one. Now that it's coming out in a couple months, I'm super-psyched, but I know that the PS2 version will be inferior to the 360 version in nearly every way. The graphics will be worse, the load times will be longer, and I won't be able to download new songs, compete on leaderboards, and all that fancy stuff.

The only advantage to the PS2 version? I already own two guitars, so I only have to pay for the game.

Considering I will eventually get a 360 after there is a large price drop, I'm really stuck on this one. Wait it out and get the 360 version, go ahead and get the PS2 version, get both, get neither? Oi.

Oh, so Best buy has the t-shirt too? Is it one size fits-all (i.e. XL) or are there different sizes? Do you get the shirt immediately?

I hear'dat. Only because I will have an awful time waiting for the 360 version to come out whilst everyone else is rockin' the fuck out on PS2. If it's any consolation, the load times are nil on PS2 if you're using a HDD Loader.
From RedOctance? Screw that. After they decided to sue 3rd party guitar makers, I lost interest in them.
Agreed, it seems so wrong Red Octane is going after them. After all, Red Octane has been making 3rd party DDR pads for years and sold 3rd party Drummania and Guitar Freaks controllers.

Maybe a controller plug that turns the PS2 end into a USB port will come out. If not you can always trade in one of them towards a 2nd 360 guitar.

if you are waiting for a large price drop on the 360 then I recommend just getting it for PS2, you will get more than enough play out of it during that wait.

yes. It's in a box and you just pay the $5 and get the shirt.
