It will work fine, only the older versions of the guitar won't work and for those you can buy a new receiver from TAC for like $7 that will fix it.

I have the Flying V and I really like it... it works just as good as the Gibson SG that I got with GH1. I only use the SG when I'm playing multiplayer.
