Guitar Hero DS?

I thought I remember hearing about Guitar Hero DS coming out or being worked on. Is it sill in the works?

I can't imagine that that was more than a rumor. Were they seriously going to make a tiny little Guitar Hero controller? It sounds just a bit too far fetched to me. They could do the game in a Jam Sessions fashion, but after trying Jam Sessions for a short time and having my hand/fingers hurt in minutes, I'm not crazy about that option.
