If you actually want cookbooks I usually buy them for cheap from
Half.com. I usually get Joyce Goldstein's The Beautiful series (America, Mediterranean, California, Etc.). I like that the recipes are short and there's usually pictures of what the meal should look like ;)

Have you looked at geeks.com? It is a site I saw recently, very inexpensive computers in general. Their sale items have free shipping. Everything they sale for the most part is refurbished, which I have no issue. I checked out reviews for the site, and they are positive for the most part.
