I'd rather trade.

And the reason there's been so few trades is because it's personally easy for me to get a game cheap if I want it via the RLS, friends, what have you. That's why I probably won't trade say...GOW3 for Heavy Rain because I know I can get it super cheap down the line. Plus, most of my wants are very low. Only two games I actually want a lot at the moment is Demon's Souls and Monster Hunter Tri.
