look, theres no way humanly posible for me to keep track of every single bid in the rolling time period...that is why I'm going by the time stamp....have a little patience I will go through the list meticulously and in detail...the bids will be here for all to peruse....again I must stress any edited bid posts will be disqualified as mentioned at 11:45PM

Are you going to leave negative feedback if a person had bid multiple items, and in the end ends up with only 1 item, ie I believe my case where I end up with 1 guide? Hope not. Rather send a guy a buck than pay for a guide only to ship. If your not in that instance I'd feel free to offer up the gears of war guide to someone if they wanted it.
 
Good luck with everything jimijumper - there have been a bunch of post 12am bids on stuff that was locked at midnight. I guess some don't understand that a "rolling end time" doesn't mean "bid whenever."

In any case, enjoy your headache! I will be able to pay you tonight if you can ship soon - I'll pay at the end of the week if you'd rather wait. Just let me know.

of course not...its an auction...bidding on items makes the prices go up...

what is a Rolling end time.... for those who do not know like me : )


im guessing anything with a bid before midight stays open for 10 mins. then 10 mins after the last bidit closes ?

As soon as you have a total, I can send you payment by tonight (I'll be up until 3 AM central time) or anytime tomorrow. You can ship media mail to save money (although I assume you'd be shipping that way anyway, lol).

Rolling end time works like this. lets say you big on item A at 11:59:00 and then i bid on Item A at 12:01:00 well that item now stays open for 10 more minutes. Anyone can bid on it. For other items if they arent bidded on within 10 minutes of auction than they are locked and no one can bid on them.

so basically just look at all the bids timestamped after 12:00. all the items that were bidded on after closing were due to the rolling end time.
 
Good job with the sale, hope you got what you were looking for. Don't listen to all these people forcing you to address them all at once, i'd say the most important thing is to fully update the OP with all the correct information. That way, you can easily know who bidded on what and which people owe you w/e amount of money.

Also, this being a large auction, you could set "paypal rules" so that people automatically send you payments, although i preferred doing them individually. As for me, i'm still not sure what i've won or lost ;).

Not exactly...

"This means that officially the sale ends at midnight. Then for each item that gets a bid around this time I will allow 10 minutes for that item to be rebid."

So for any item bid on between 11:50-12:00 midnight, there continues to be 10 minute rolling time. But anything that was last bid on earlier than 11:50 (e.g. something bid on the day before, something bid on at 8pm, etc.) can't be bid on after midnight. So anyone who put in a bid after his "auction close" post could only bid on items that had been bid on in the previous 10 minutes (and within their rolling time). He has a good example or two under the spoiler on the first page.
