Hey everyone, I've been hanging out on this site for a while, and thought I might start contributing!
I just got back from shopping, and I couldn't be happier. I'm not a huge fan of the big crowds normally (in fact, I loathe christmas shopping) but today was a rare exception. The original plan was to get Ghost Recon 2 for 19.99 with a pricematch from bestbuy (KMart was out). I was in line, and everything was going well until I said "Yea, K-Mart was all out of stock" She was like "Oh, I'm not allowed to price match unless they have them in stock" No Ghost Recon for me! Me and my big mouth!! :x My buddy who was with me got his with no problem, and decided to sell his to me for the same price he paid (Said he was really unsure if he wanted it anyways). We went across the street to walmart to see if they had it to Price match, but no luck. After all this, we went right nextdoor to Toys r us just for kicks, I hadn't been in that store for years, thought they might have a good deal on an XBox game or two. I was browsing their game systems case and noticed what seemed to be a typo "PSOne LCD Screen Combo (with PSOne) for 29.99. me and my friend both took every cent we had, but we were literally 1.00 short with tax. (this after tearing up my car looking for loose change) The guy was nice and said he'd hold it for me while we went all the way back out of town to my house (about a 30 minute drive). We came back reloaded with cash, bought the system, then went to a pawn shop where we got Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, and Star Wars Episode 1 for the PS1, and found Dr. Mario, and Metal Gear for the NES all for 8 bucks for everything. Sorry for the long read, but it was quite a day! I'm not sure if I should post the deal in the deal forum because It might be just this one store doing the sale (and yes, it was the last one).
