I saw this on the Playstation Blog and thought it newsworthy.

"I also want to let you know that NIS America will release our past PSP titles, such as Prinny, Disgaea, Blade Dancer, and more, on PSN in the coming weeks. They will be available between $4.99 and $12.99 during the sales week (October 1st to 7th.) They are all 50% off, so don’t miss this chance to get them if you haven’t gotten these titles yet!"

For reference the past PSP titles (according to Wikipedia):

Since he mentions Blade Dancer, that may indicate that games where they are just the publisher may be included as well.

Keeping a note on this.

Badman and Prinny seemed like good things to grab, so I'd like to see this come to fruition. Thanks for the heads up, TctclMvPhase!

This sucks, I just bought the Prinny game from Rosequeen last month lol, and Holy Badman on release date lol!

Also that Disgaea 3 DLC packs that include everything still pissing me off, with extra contents at a cheaper price.

Promotions like this on PSN is making me regret supporting games on their release date. =(

Depending on the price I will buy Mana Khemia and maybe repurchase Disgaea. I'll probably look at some of the other ones if they are really cheap too. Such great news.

I was thinking of getting Mana Khemia. But the reviews for the ports are really poor so I'll probably just save my money.

The game was a lot of fun from what I played when I rented it. The only big issue was the loading, but if you put it on to a stick it wasn't nearly as bad.

a lot of those older games can be found at gamestop for 9.99 or less (using edge and coupon when they are out there)

if

Holy Invasion Of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? - was 5 bucks i would really try to figure out how these downloads worked (yes im stupid and too lazy to undersand how to make these work)

Mana Khemia glitches.... yes they are bad and the loading times are bad *unless you do the jump start from a memory card

i got this game day 1 off gamefly for 20...... only put around 3 hours into the game ... did not really care for it but one day when im hurting to play a game i have this to fall back on
They're very simple to get to work, especially when DL off PS3. Just dl, press triangle, select copy.
dont have a ps3 : ( now if you want to buy me one that is another story LOL

What do you think the chances are of having Disgaea 2 as part of the deal? I'm guessing it's probably 0%, as I can't imagine them giving it away so cheap after it just released.
I heard Mana Khemia on psp had tons of game breaking glitches
You heard wrong. I played through the entire game, leveled everyone to 100% and had not one issue other than a few slowdowns here and there. I'd say get it. The alchemy system is strangely addictive.

wow, with prinny now difficult to find, that is a great price
I might buy a bunch even though some are downright mediocre.

I'm posting here just so I don't forget about this.

At $5, I'd buy almost any of those games. At $10, I'd be a bit picky but I'd still get at least three of them.
I'll have to reminder this for when I pick up my PSP Go.
ME 2 may pick some 4.99 games

playstation blog released the list of titles on sale:

* Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light
* Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
* Dragoneer’s Aria
* Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This?
* Mana Khemia: Student Alliance
* Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?

Wow. Depending on prices I'm in for... oh shit, maybe all of them. I need to go read some reviews.

EDIT - Okay, so Blade Dancer and Dragoneer's Aria sound like turds but everything else should be solid.

It's $4.99 to $9.99 without any specific prices, though you can probably guess what will be $9.99 based on release dates.

I'll definitely get Badman. If Disgaea's $5 I'll have to get it, but I think it'll be $10 which is still a great value for those who don't have the PSP version.

Dragoneer’s Aria is actually really funny and challenging.

I imported a copy from Play Asia, and clocked 25 hours +. Despite the cliche story line, it was a decent RPG regardless.

Even though I have no money, Mana Khemia is just about a must buy for me at $10 or less, and I'll have to strongly consider Disgaea and Prinny. Hopefully some of my things sell so I can get in on these awesome deals.

Though I'm not interested in any of the titles listed here, I'm hoping that Sony starts showing some sales love similar to what Steam does. I think if they did that they'd sell a ton more in DD.

Mana Khemia is a port of the PS2 version correct? What's different between the two versions? Is the PSP version an "upgraded" version like Disgaea?

Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light - $4.99
Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? - $9.99
Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! - $9.99
Mana Khemia: Student Alliance - $14.99
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness - $14.99
Dragoneer's Aria - $14.99

Try the Holy Invasion demo and see if you like it enough to buy it or go for Prinny. The major issue I had with it is that it lacked a save option between levels so I could try out different strategies and actually learn how to play, which wasn't added until the sequel that NIS is currently working on localizing for release here.
