I just visited my local 7-11 store and was surprised to see several copies of Halo 2 for sale. There was a large sign over them saying "Clearance! $19.99!" This may be YMMV, but it's worth a shot if you're looking for Halo 2!

My store keeps them right above the porn. Still 49.99 is Park forest,IL the store supposely has "the world most slurpee machines". BS I say.

$19.99 x 6% tax = $21.18 + $2shipping = $23.18

My time and gas would be worth more than $0.82

This is so YMMV it makes my dick hard. It's worth the 50 bucks....for 20 bucks I'll beat your ass right outside a 7/11 for not buying it.
 
The other day I was going to my 7-11 to buy a $1.29 bottle of soda when I scraped together another $50 to buy Halo 2.

Whose marketing genius was that?
 
What is the trade in value of Halo 2? Im trying to think of a way to use this to my advanatage as Eb and Gamestop always have some weird trade in deals.

pretty sure it is $30 at gamerush and $25 at ebgames/gamestop, dont quote me on that tho.

Good call... I snuck out to the gym the other day so I was stank like a mofo. :)
 
I picked up a copy for a friend at the 7-11 in Itasca,IL. They wouldn't let me use a creidt card so it was $20 flat cash and no recipt. It rang up at 49.99 but they said if I paid cash it was only $20. Maybe other 7-11 stores have this same policy.
 
It's been over 2 months since they dropped the price to $20, so good luck finding any left. I know the 3 here sold out completely awhile back once it hit $20.

I bought mine with a debit/credit card. It still rang up at $19.99.

That smells of something like employee fraud. I'd report this if I were you. No receipt is just ridiculous, and asking for cash is even more so if the merchant accepts all forms of payment.
