Halo 3 launch date announced ( sort of rumor )

That's when Sony says they will release their system on day "A"....and then release the system a week earlier without telling anyone!

Yup... there is no way in hell I am paying another $50(ish) for a rushed product. Bungie can get away with it once... but that is it.

Classic.........the great cleansing of '06..when the a-hole store employees were vanquished and the cool employees, who know what they're doing, thrive. Oh the bloodshed that as seen in the fall of 2006. All because of PS3 and Halo 3.

If true, this might be stupid. Why would anyone buy an Xbox2 right away if the biggest game for it (Halo 3) won't even launch for another year? What if Sony gets a GTA game for the PS3 launch?
 
hey save me waiting in line twice... think of it as killing 2 birds with 1 stone...

XBOX 2 better have some really killer AAA titles... and get those japanese developer on board,
or I don't think xbox 2 will be a must have system during launch...

Wait, so you want Halo 3 to be released when the Xbox2 is launched? You want it to be rushed even more? Even if it does get launched at PS3 launch time (which is still pure speculation) it'll still be only in development for 2 years (which is also assuming the PS3 launchs a full year after XBox2, which is unlikely).

You must be a fanboy. You want a game to come out, not for it to be good, but for it to hurt other systems. That is the defintion of a fanboy. A Person who cares more about the status of their system, then the games for it.

No. PS2 gets Michael Jackson's "barber Pole" penis, Xbox gets Jose Canseco (without roids), gamecube gets classic Ron Jeremy.

It will also have DS compatibility. When you frag someone, before they die, you have to draw a weiner on the touch screen. If the weiner isn't big enough, they are resurrected by Tingle.

For those who prefer manual resurrection, it will also ship with a wireless Tingle Tuner.
It can also work as a stirring rod or egg beater in the upcoming "Iron Chef: American Pig" due out early 2006.
