Here is a fanmade wallpaper for Halo 3 I made. Check it out (have a variety of resolutions all widescreen except for the 1024 by 768)

Thats 3 for Halo 3, and it took me longer than 30 seconds. At the end I think I had about 12 or 15 different layers for the picture. I put it up for people that wanted a cool wallpaper, its my desktop right now, looks tight.

Alright, show me something better than. Thanks for your feedback and yea I know the three is for ps3 but theres no halo3 icon so I used it. I'm a digital artist going to college right now, so yea I'm showing off my work, thats what artists do jack.
 
I don't like it =/ Not my thing... maybe its good for you artsy guys though, I don't know the standard or what you all look at. I'm not a graphic computer guy or artist or whatever, so take that as a grain of salt lol.

Hey man at least someone backed up their smacktalkin. They look great, added em to my collection of 400 wallpapers lol. Just wanted to know whats with the indentations on the pic?

I want 800x600! XD But I just took the 1024 x 768 and stretched it and it looks really good still :)
 
This wallpaper made me take the effort to put all the junk lying around on my dekstop neatly in to a folder

OP, so you don't feel like everyone is shitting on you, your wallpaper is cool. I don't like the mirroring effect, but I did have it for about 30 seconds, until I scrolled down and read the rest of the topic and saw Murcs. Yours is nice thouhg and I'm sure there are some people out their who would prefer it.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting a huge following on mine anyways, just figured I'd share my creation. I just edited the title to Halo 3 wallpapers so lets make this the place for Halo 3 wallpapers or any wallpaper that's game related in that matter and we can have a fellow CAG voice their opinions. Negative feedback and positive feedback go hand and hand, I'm fine with that. That's criticism of art and maybe I'll do another one when I have time. I bet people didn't like the mirror effect because it shows two Master Chiefs, wonder if we'll see any other Spartians in Halo3.

Your wallpaper isnt bad, it looks pretty good, but here's a couple things I would of changed.

1. Its a tad too busy, the brutes in the upper/center are a little too much and are distracting.

2. I will never put a wallpaper on my desktop with someone's name on it. Murc's is fine, because its in a corner where the Startbar will cover it. Yours is an eye sore, in not one, but 2 places. Once even backwards. Text always looks stupid backwards.

3. The "Finish the Fight" in the middle of the screen is way too bright for the rest of the picture to mesh well with it.

I like the colors, and the almost liquid look of the image itself. And though the "Mirror Image" is a little too first year photoshop user, I like it alright in this. Good work, and try to know when the image is finished in the future.

[/quote]It looks like another 30 second fix. Move the "Finish the Fight", add the 3, and reflect Master Chief (again) to a picture easily found across the net. Quit with the reflection thing and they're decent.
