I mentioned this before, but I've been saving the Theater videos of people being assholes and putting them on my fileshare. I intend to e-mail 343i about them, telling them to ban presented, evidence supported assholes from the game. If they want to be morons, they can be forced to do it in custom matches. Playing like that is not welcome in online matches, though.

If no action is taken to remove these players, I'll gladly stop playing all Halo games, as they're not supporting my expectations as a consumer who isn't an online fucker. If they cannot play the game well with others, don't let them play online at all.

Maybe if they'll take action, people might stop playing like this. Fear of consequence is a pretty big motivator to stop people from playing like dicks.

Or...

You could try starting a CAG clan to prevent from being teamed with dicks (hopefully). There just doesn't seem to be enough interest though.

I don't know what happened, though I suspect grenade, but I got betrayed while playing Team Regicide yesterday. (If the video is still there, 360 has long since been turned off, I'll look around to be sure of what happened.)

Oh speaking of Team Regicide... Looks like its popularity was short lived as it was way down on the pole yesterday. (Currently 4th as I type this.)
 
Oh I've never played CTF 4th in the rankings is still a large margin between most of the game types though.
Its infinity slayer and btb which is constantly in the 15k-20k range then SWAT and then Regicide and then everything else is >2k (I think I did that right). Hopefully they bring back invasion and drop dominion

Oh, I specialized for the first time. Talk about disappointment. You get nothing really tangible till you finish it off. There special ability is the last thing to unlock. Really seems like it should have been the first.

Not that it ending up matter but I chose pathfinder consider I usually only play two modes... SWAT and BTB. (And I always find myself with a turret in my hands at some point* in the battle.)

* I would say many points in the battle but I don't want to be viewed as the idiot slogging around at half speed carrying a turret. :lol:
 
Dominion is just BTB with less people I don't understand why they have 4v4,6v6 and 8v8. Same here all I play is SWAT and BTB

Also, Dew 24 packs are 12 matches and 12 packs are 6.

I was using those for a while but I almost kind of regret it now. I've been playing quite a bit so I'd be at a fairly high level anyway, but I'm at 66 already and I could sort of see the day come where I max out and have little incentive to play anymore. Oh well, it's still a ways off.

Isn't that what the Commendations are for? While I don't think people will max all of them, you'll definitely have lots to complete well after you hit max rank. Especially if you at least try to max one playlist and one of the weapon sets. Plus, these Commendations are more attainable than the ones in Reach, though there are some that really seem impossible.
 
i love the dew promotion.... i got a ton of codes from listia (see my sig) but sadly you can only do 200 matches total... i've allready redeemed that many codes but am still redeeming more because i'd love to win a prize!!! (still have 95 matches of double xp to play through, will be playing some spartan ops, thanks for the tips!)
 
Dominion is pretty fun. It's like a gametype that promotes camping my understanding on how to win in this gametype is just hold on to more than 1 base and you win. It's a good gametype if you need any ordnance kills with UNSC/forerunner weapons. I needed SAW kills and they drop everywhere on meltdown

Sorry, for missing this originally. There is an armor set that can be only be completely unlocked by doing the first three episodes on legendary.

I'm doing them solo on Legendary and finding it to be a good way to fill up the Commendations. I already completed the one for a specific type of Elites doing this.

The parts where you face 3 Knights at once in tight areas really suck, though.

I see the new DLC is out, I brought the season pass when I first got the map so how do I download the pack? Its saying 800 points with no other option.

Have to wait. It's pretty fucked (but nothing new) that a game company is treating the more dedicated fans (ie the ones with the limited edition and/or map pass) as second-class yet again.

There should be something up within the next few hours that prompts you to download them from in game rather than the marketplace. For now, only people buying the separate map packs can access it.

By the time most people see this it may already be up. It's almost 8 am EST as I write this.
 
Any word if these achievements can only be earned on crimson map packs like reach did? I never even played that invasion map where you needed to blow up something

I'm pretty sure that you could earn a map pack achievement on any map in Reach... I say this because I have at least one achievement from each map pack but I rarely, rarely, ever saw the chance to play on the DLC maps. (I bought them all on sale and/or with Halo Anniversary.)
 
Defiant was the only map pack that had map specific achievements. (except for those three achievements you could earn in customs)


People really want to play these maps I saw a couple of people at the waypoint forums saying they were tired of waiting and even though they had the season pass paid the 800 points to play them now.

Welp got four of the achievements in like 30 seconds. Spawned in a game that already started near an enemy mantis ran to it boarded it killed it with a grenade two achievements. Ran to a teleporter melee killed a guy got the achievement for killing someone with melee off of a mancannon and killing someone in the air while exiting a man cannon. I didn't even know teleporters counted as man cannons
 
The achievements are bugged too they don't appear on xbox.com or through a friends list or added to my overall total what a clusterfuck

Looks like you don't have to play crimson dlc playlist for achievements I got clay pigeon on SWAT on harvest oddly enough is the only achievement that added to my gamerscore while the other 4 don't but show as unlocked

You got those achievements before they were added to Xbox.com. Common problem with DLC on the day it's released. The only way to fix it now is to recover your profile and earn them again.
 
Yeah that's what I did. Luckily they're still buggy as fuck first game back from deleting my profile ran up to someone meleed them and earned two achievements. Odst (killing someone while jumping on a man cannon and special delivery killing someone with melee after jumping from a man cannon)
 
Still torn if I should get the pass or just a few map packs....ugh. I don't have a code to go past lvl 70...but I am enjoying it. but who knows if ill get bored of it..AAAHHHHHH

Same here. I know MS isn't going to give anything to those inconvenienced* by this so the more money they can 'lose' over this the better... and as always. Map packs split the player base so the less than happens the better it is for everyone.

* Was I inconvenienced? In the great scheme of things... Only a little. It was the last day of my weekend so I missed out on the best opportunity to experience the maps in bulk but whatever. I do find it annoying that their isn't enough Q&A done in this business anymore to keep from screwing over the more loyal costumers. (I mean does it hurt to try your deployment strategy in an offline mode before doing it for real? Or if you have doubts go a day/half a day early for the season pass holders in case issues do arise? I got to imagine that even a single day early on release would bolster season pass sales.)

I would say get the pass $25 isnt as much as other season passes ($50 for COD) and you get the 3 map packs and is it really possible to get bored of Halo?
 
I'm surprised crimsom is still free usually MS fixes their mistakes quickly.

btw mantis foot stomp will be the hardest achievement to get since everyone uses plasma pistol as a secondary
 
Extraction sucks when no one on your team goes for the extraction points. I saw a dude on my own team camp out on top of an enemy extraction with sniper rather than go in and steal it.
