Halo : Reach Legendary Edition 79.99 at Gamestop

My buddy called me up to let me know Gamestop was selling Halo Reach Legendary for eighty bucks. Called the store closest to me...they confirmed and said they had five copies. Bought two...

if you break down the prices of each item that's included in this edition (down to the stickers, patch, dlc), it seems more than worth it especially at $80 right now. while some ppl may feel the statue to Reach is a waste, I'll have to defend the artist who sculpted that puppy originally. as for "value" it's to the fan not the reseller...if you want resale value, buy it, sell the game for store credit and the ingame codes and I'm sure you'd actually break even or make a profit.

with the preorder GC's and store reward points, I totally went in on this deal and after selling my standard copy of reach I really only spent $75 on something I originally wanted to buy on release.
 
haha, this was a door buster BF morning too. I went in on Weds night and they had 2 stacked up w/ a huge sign on them for $79.99 (they were putting their stuff out early, it was 15 mins before closing) I thought about it, but I have the limited edition already, so I decided to pass. BF morning those 2 copies didn't budge..and yup, still there on Sunday. Maybe not many die hard gamers new about the sale, or maybe it was an indication of Joe Gamer not wanting it..I just kept in the back of my mind, 'I'll get it when it's clearanced at $19.99' :D

there's a 10% off coupon going around that you might be able to use. By the way, this is in store as well but as always it might be YMMV. I bought one today in store for $79.99+tax
 
I ended up getting this today, just sold the DLC for $40. Now to sell the other junk it came with. I think I'll just keep the game & statue

The book it comes with is really nice. You can see how much thought they put into the story and background.

Anyone that's dumb enough to pay $50 for a prop for their avatar is an idiot. I should start selling any DLC codes I get.

I always sell the preorder/limited/collectors edition DLC. I have made a good amount of money just selling that crap. Idiots will buy that shit up all day long :bouncy:
 
any idea how long this deal will last? i have the legendary from amazon. but i figured.. id sell all the contents separately and then buy the GS one so itll be all new again. i sort of ruined the box when i opened the sticker.

i like my LE clean :D
