Hamburgers are the Hummers of food in global warming

Even the food pyramid suggested small ammounts of dairy and meat.
The food pyramid isn't a must eat type of thing. Sweets are the very top. It's a guide where if you are going to eat something "this is how much of it you should eat."
Grains and veggies are the base/biggies.
Also, to whoever said meat is most delicious form of lean protein, I beg to differ
marketing? i thought it was the government and their food pyramid or whatever it is now.
exactly, marketing. do you not know who created the food pyramid and why it was created? it was when the agricultural industry was struggling, they made up the food pyramid and said "this is how to eat". only with the motive to boost the industry's sales, not for any scientific reasons for our health. you really think the same government that will approve such things as aspartame have our best interests? just one of many examples how it's all about the dollar over here. stage four cancer can be reversed by high doses of fruits, oxygen treatments and vitamin c through the gerson institute. sounds like a cure to me, why are we still searching for a cure and why don't we know things like this? because those treatments don't make the government money, drugs and sick people do! don't be so naive, we're being deceived...

Aspartame was not approved until 1981, in dry foods. For over eight years the FDA refused to approve it because of the seizures and brain tumors this drug produced in lab animals. The FDA continued to refuse to approve it until President Reagan took office (a friend of Searle) and fired the FDA Commissioner who wouldn't approve it. Dr. Arthur Hull Hayes was appointed as commissioner. Even then there was so much opposition to approval that a Board of Inquiry was set up. The Board said: "Do not approve aspartame". Dr. Hayes OVERRULED his own Board of Inquiry.
