They reminded me of the character from Phoenix Wright (can't remember the name) who spoke like that as well. I got a chuckle out of it.

I can't remember his name either but it was the director of the Steel Samurai in the third chapter.
 
Wow, this is a far cry from most translations we'd get years ago. I'm glad to see translators are adding little touches like this. This also makes me wonder how the japan version handles the hammer bros?
