You're a current subscriber to something other than Fios, Phone, TV right?
I just punched in my address and they tell me my area is not available for High Speed...even though I use thier High Speed DSL...

Nope, I'm a current subscriber on verizon fios for all 3. I have to say I love the service although it's a bit pricey for me. But that $99/month deal would bring it down to a sweet price point. I think with the STBs I currently rent it would work out to about $135 (plus taxes I guess?)
What are your thought on Oblivion?
The game is strangely addictive for me. At first I would play for an hour or two and think "Bleh I need to stop playing this game it's just the same shit over and over." Then a bit later or the next day I'd find myself compulsively popping it back in. Now I've just accepted that I'm hooked.
I think it's because there are a ton of quests you can do at any one time and it doesn't

around (for the most part) with making you hunt around with where to go to advance on them.
Also it's amazing to me that you can play the game in several different ways (i.e. a warrior type that just bashes things with weapons, a mage that fires off spells, a thief that sneaks around and tries to take enemies by surprise, a fast dude that uses a bow, etc.) and that all of the speech is fully voiced. I mean there is a ton of speech in this game.
