Happy Birthday Dreamcast =)

ok one day late in wishing a happy birthday but I got home yesterday to find a package containing MvC2, MvC, and Powerstone 2 waiting for me. Couldn't play them though cause no dreamcast :whistle2:( but then my dreamcast came today with soul calibur and bangai-o

In my opinion, no console has ever captured the feel or actual arcade games better than the Dreamcast. It really paved the way for a lot of the casual games that we have today, and had a ton of other console "firsts" that are now standard.

I have very fond memories of the Dreamcast, and it'll always be my favorite console.

A few things could have saved or at least prolonged it's life:

DVD Playback Capabilities
Electronic Arts Support
A More Aggressive Fight Against Sony's PR Machine
Better Piracy Protection (It was way, way too easy to overcome)

They were working on a DVD add on.
And a VMU that could play MP3s.
Among some other things.

I'm making a new thread here about their zip drive.
