Greetings from the year 2006!

It was a pretty uneventful New Year's Eve for me. CheapyMom-In-Law is staying with us for a few days, so things are pretty mellow here.
We went out for dinner and then came back and watched K1 and Pride FC. Nothing like watching grown men kick the living shit out of each other (while drinking sake and beer) to help usher in the new year.

Mrs. CheapyD and her mom hit the hay early, so I was all by my lonesome as I watched a Japanese orchestra play Beethoven's 9th Symphony (in HD and on my new Logitech Z-5500) which ended exactly at midnight.

Now that it's 2006, I can officially say that this year will be the year of the CAG.

Happy New Year everyone!

aha lucky im in the philippines so I still have another half hour to go until.... but it's been a pretty boring night so far. haven't done anything im going to sit in my hotel room until midnight and watch the thing on tv. then I'll be up til around 4 ish. I have it all planned out. Happy New Years Everyone!

EDIT: just found out that I'm actually going to a midnight buffet right now. hmm.

Since your so far ahead of us, how is the PS3? And does the Revo use brainwaves along with the attachments?

:)

Happy New Year!
Enjoy your beverage of choice!

This certainly will be a good year for CAGers. With the big three moving on to the new consoles, the existing games should start to get nice and cheap ;). Happy New Years everyone! And dont forget to eat alot of pork and sauerkraut on New Year's day if you want to be wealthy.

Sweet dude. I didn't know that. I'm Filipino too, so yeah, I go there all the time. Funny enough, my girlfriend used to work at the Shang-Ri La there. She sang in the lobby. They might know her actually haha.

I miss walking through Glorietta and then to Greenbelt. You have to try out Max Brenner's in Greenbelt (it's 3, I think on Makati Ave.) if you haven't already. Probably the best buffet there at the Shang, too. And they have some really great desserts at the Peninsula.

Happy New Year CAGenites! I wont be around my PC come midnight, so I thought id get it in early :D

May all your games come complete in the new year :D

Ooo, I'll make sure to try out Max's. I've went to the Glorietta everyday since I got here on the 19th. all the games are expensive and the gba games are all bootleg. Mario Tennis had a 4 page manual and only talked about how good the N64 version was. I bought it on accident. I'm likin the TimeZone arcade here as well. :D

Ha, yeah, I remember Xbox games there were nearly $70 each. Even Greatest Hits titles were $40. There's not too many gaming deals to be had there.

I spent countless credits at the TimeZone in G4. There's also this basketball shootout type thing at Toby's on the 4th floor. We ended up essentially renting out the one at The Podium last time.

But have fun there. So many places to shop (aside from gaming deals) and with the conversion rates, it's so cheap.

Better then what I'm doing...I guess I still have no idea what I'm doing for tonight. Does it even matter what I do. No one has called me, and I have called no one. For some reason this year I don't care. I might try to beat POP:WW in one sitting or something I don't know. I guess will find out tonight or tomorrow morning what I did tonight. :D

Happy New Year, CAGs!

I hope that this year is full of great things for all of you.

I certainly hope it's full of great things for me; this year has been one of the worst ones of my life...

Anyway, for those of you partying, stay safe and be responsible.

Happy New Year everyone from Hard Shittin' New Britain, CT

Pretty uneventful this year. My friends were going to some sort of western bar >< I think I'll pass. I'm going to play by my lonesomeself... maybe some DOA4 or something.

I wish I was in the Phillips right now zero. My future wife to be is there, we are working on a K1 visa. The wait is fun :(

Happy New Years all, I may get drunk and play some BF2: MC, anyone online look for me. Passing up on our usual party, 2cute is not feeling well and supposedly some of our friend's parents are going to be there so I am not all that interested in being there.

And Happy New Year (early) to this side of the world! Just posted in early because I might not be awake when the clock strikes midnight.

Wow. That stroke put Dick Clark in pretty bad condition; I feel bad for him.

Then again, he's hosting New Years Eve, so his life can't be all that bad.
Ok, didn't Dick Clark sound like he was going to die any second or was it just me?
Oh trust me deaths a knocking at the gate, he just has a really long driveway.
I have no life...
I think I will take that title. I just looked and almost every thread at the top underneath the last post by was my name. It kinda looks like this.

Did they even show him at all? I swear all of what he was saying was pre recorded from the comfort of his bed earlier today.

EDIT: Also he is pretty messed since having that stroke.
So what happens for the people on the west coast? Do they watch new years live in NY, or do they watch it delayed?
LIVE I think. I haven't ben watching the TV yet. I usually only look for the ones in international cities like Paris and Sydney.
