ok guys, opinion time...im getting one of those plug and play namco joysticks for a gift...now do i...

buy one from target for $12
buy the two pack from walmart for $20 or
but the pocket edition from kbtoys for $8

decisions decisions!!

I am going, but only to EB and will only be there for a short time.

If you arrive a little after the store is supposed to open, there usually is not all that long of a wait.

I was done shopping in 2 hours and went to, BB, EB, GS, and Target. I did wait at BB for 2 hours before it opened though

last year I went to Target at 6:15 and there was hardly anyone there. That may sway your decision (cuz you know the mall and wal-mart are going to be slammed)

Assuming they're all the same game, and you're giving it to one person, get the pocket one. If two people are going to be using it, I'd get the two pack.

hmm..you guys make good points...i dont really NEED the 2 pack...but its more value over the game at target..the one at kb i kinda want to avoid because it has pacman instead of ms pac man...which everyone knows is superior....

did you see the Atari 7800 one?

It actually looks like and old atari (though the sucky thing is I do not think you can play old Atari carts in them)
 I've seen that Hulk avatar a bunch of times now, but I still can't help but laugh. Brother!
I love his facial expresion

Everytime I hear the word "tryptophan", I always think of that one Seinfeld episode when Jerry serves his girlfriend turkey so she'll fall asleep and he can play with her toy collection.
Genius. Pure genius!

yeah that things like 50 bucks...i dont like this new plug and play gaming thing...mostly because its more expensive and you cant do anything with them other than play the 5 games that come on it....but its for a gift Xop

Just got done updating the Feedback tally. :) Once Brolly updates, it should be updated all the way up to the 3rd thread for those who care.

i forgot, i also have a story from BF!

so ok the only non-eb store i went to was target...i didnt want to go early, so i went sometime around 9. i got the otem i was looking for and headed to the line (i went to the electronics line, the normal lines were about 30 people long.)

so while standing in line, there this woman and her son behind me, the son is prolly around 8 and has prolly been dragged around store to store since 6am (now 9:30)

the son says something to the extent that he's bored, to which the mother replies "i swear the only time youre not bored is when youre sitting in front of the tv...cant you enjoy yourself...this is an experience!"

AN EXPERIENCE?!?! FRIGGAN SHOPPING?!?! PEOPLE GETTING IN FIGHTS OF STUPID ITEMS TO SAVE $5 IS AN EXPERIANCE?!

it took every ounce of restraint i had not to point out everything that was wrong with what she just said...

poor kid...

My mom and brother bought a CAT 5e crossover patch cable today. It will work for linking together 2 Xboxes without a hub right? Its says on the back that you need an Ethernet 10/100 base T card, and I assume thats what the Xbox has.
Okay, am I the only guy who can't see 70% of the peoples' avatars here?
The site was hacked earlier and avatars got wiped.

Ahh... I see. What a shame.

that should work.

and Damn Service pack 2. I guess I am going to have to uninstall it, because I cannot get Unreal II to install and it is one of the games that is supposed to experience problems with service pack 2 (RS3 was as well, but I got that and Athena to install cleanly)

It did? That sucks.

I just woke up at 1:30 after about 11 hours of sleep after only having 22 hours of sleep from the rest of this week. I'm gonna hang out with my friend and go to GR, GS, EB, and go see National Treasure since we're both big fans of Nic Cage.

I can't see most of them either.

From the reviews I've seen of this movie, and from the trailers they've been showing, Dan Brown really needs to sue somebody....
this looks so similar to Angels and Demons and The Da vinchi Code
that it isn't even funny.

Ahh.... Just got back from two Black Friday hunts at Target. Surprisingly, my Target wasn't even all that crowded. I got Family Guy Season 1 and 2 for $17.77, and I'm going to circle back there tomorrow to pick up those copies of GTA: Vice City and 007: EoN that I've been promising myself...

Anybody ever watch Family Guy? Is it all that funny?

Family Guy is a great show.

Mmm. Taco Bell.

Family Guy is great.

"What am I supposed to do with all of my amazing ideas Lois? Get in the bath and wash myself with them? Because that's what soap is for, Lois."

"Look, my alpha bits spell Oooooooo."

"Peter, those are cheerios."

Moxio, Cheapy said the avatars were back up, but I still can't see yours. Are you in the process of changing it?

If the two pack is two different games than I would have gone with that one.
