...If you want to play for like 63 hours because it's so fucking hard, yeah.
Well...yeah, ok, so maybe not expert. :bomb:
prove it.

The Boys are back in town!!

Considering how bad they have played, it is pretty crazy that the game is as close as it is.
I don't know about that. The Redskins did score pretty quickly before the half.
I am playing Temp's advocate here and say that most people don't know the difference. I mean, everybody considers the people in 28 days later to be Zombies, but they aren't.
I agree with the others. Since there's no scientific basis for any of this, it's all conjecture. There's no proof of anything, other than zombie, coming from zombi, being a word to describe a re-animated corpse. Since the word, mostly centered around voodoo, just refers to a supernaturally reanimated corpse. Maybe you could get away with the idea that zombies require a supernatural animator, but in that case, the RE games and a large portion of zombie lore goes out the window. Backpedaling a little, who is to say that the supernatural reanimation of a corpse wouldn't make it faster or slower... :whistle2:s
Did you get that Rock Band disc, frosty?
Yeah, I mentioned it a few pages back, b-munchy.
I was  at M.C. Frosticles... check the user title...

Wait...are you seriously debating the definition of something fictional?

..... Dweebs.

-------

I am now convinced that DEXTER can never fail...damn show gets better and better with every episode.
Yeah, and it annoys me how often they refer to them as zombies. I don't think they know anything about zombie lore.
This is funny.

Which zombie lore are you talking about? Romero zombies (My personal fav)? Or something closer to "lore:" Voodoo zombies, which didn't really attack people and were basically slaves?

Just because you can mess with fiction, that doesn't mean you should. I mean, what if you went to see a new Batman movie, and they had Batman kicking ass using telekinesis? I mean, Batman doesn't really exist, so you could do anything, right?

Wrong. People would be pissed. And that's how I feel about running zombies.
What about that shit he pulled with zombies in Day/Land of the Dead, Temporaryscars?
I wasn't happy with it, but the movie was still pretty good.

I mean, it doesn't bother me that much. It's pretty obvious that I love L4D, and I'm buying it, I'm just not ready to see them as zombies.

I'm not so sure about your analogy (Hell, my buddy won a "No-Prize" when an issue of Cloak & Dagger featured Jean Greay using telepathy when she didn't have it at the time), but I gotta agree with you on the whole running zombie thing.

My personal opinion is that something that is dead and decaying shouldn't be able to operate at levels better than when it was at its peak (aka: alive).
Killing infected zombie looking people on 37 inches is going to be nice.
Yeah, it will. Watching that guy play DOA4 on his, it looks like the set has a good response time too.

Zombie is a word used to describe a thing, not a fictional character. There are 7000 takes on vampires. You can't say one is right and one is wrong. Can vampires resist garlic? Do they need to be invited in? Can they shapeshift? Depends on the lore.

Batman, on the other hand, is a fictional character, so changing him from his original incarnation is more likely to be unacceptable to people who know about the character already. Though Batman Beyond was kind of cool, and that sort of fucked with who Batman was and what he could do. :)

thought id post my status.. as its interesting.

today i fixed a friends modded 360. back sometime in july or august, it got the 3 red lights. he had a 2nd xbox, so there was no rush to get it fixed.

so for the last few months, he had it stored away (literally 'stored away'.. packed in the closet).

today i was bored, so i fixed it via x-clamp fix. i turned it on and it worked fine.
so then i turned it off and plugged an ethernet cord into it.

within a few seconds of turning it on again, it said a security update was available. so i did the update.

after the update, it was banned!

again, this xbox hadnt been played with any backups in a few months, and i didnt have a game in it at all. it did the update, and was banned right away.

i agree that playing early releases will cause people to be banned. thats a givin. but thats not the case here.

what do all of you think of this?

edit - its a hitachi 47. sorry.. i dont remember which fw
:\

My only concern now is getting a long enough cable to connect the cable box to the TV. Looking at Buy.com's pictures, the composite in is on the opposite side of the TV than where the coax will be coming from. Hopefully I have a long enough RCA cable. Not that TV is all that important, but still.
fuck. My friend just bailed on me for the Of Montreal concert tomorrow. I guess he's afraid of catching the gay.
But...Kevin Barnes is straight.
Had my eye on the MGS4 PS3 bundle on Amazon for awhile, and really considering getting a sony card and buying one.
Is the sonystyle deal back?

I'm tempted by LFD, but Idk, gears is gonna eat up my multiplayer time.
 I'm kidding, he had to work. I'm going to see if I can get another friend to go, I don't want to miss this concert.
 I know, but that character Barnes portrays is totally gender-bending, or whatever.

Hope ya can still make it, I heard their live show is insane.

After listening to Skeletal Lamping, I'm not so sure he's straight.

I was looking at some pictures from one of their shows, and the dude came out almost naked riding a horse! This concert is going to be mind blowing.
How can you share the screen on your monitor and play a game? Are you and your buddy holding hands while you play games together?

I have a 42" TV and there is no way I would want to play a game through split screen with someone.
Guitar Hero split screen is the only way to play boyyyyiiiiii. I have to be able to see how/what the other person is doing and adjust accordingly.

Also, someone doesn't understand viewing angles!

I see your point, and I'm not saying they can't do it, but I don't have to agree with or like it. I would prefer that they walked slow, but whatever.

Hahaha, well, I had read in an interview that Skeletal Lamping is just some take on a character he created. I think it was in Paste magazine, if I remember correctly.

And I've heard about his naked/sorta-naked antics. Crazy motherfucker.
Do Microsoft's robot policemen take the weekend off?
I don't know. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
