Glad to hear they finally dropped the price on this great game.

I picked it up when Outpost had it on sale for $19.99 for about five seconds, and it's well worth $29.99. $19.99, it's a steal and has $5 worth of Mem Card 59 goodness as well.

Don't you hate living in a college town without the majority of good stores? I mean we obviously have a target here, and a meijer, but that's really it. Damn MAC schools...
Not a bad deal. I would pick this up if Gamestop let me order from them online!!
I have the same problem, but I don't buy from them anyways, on a whole GS prices are a lot hight than EBs prices.

Man, you have no idea. The only thing in this town is a Wal-MArt, which is several miels form here. And I don't have a car. Reason 21 why I'm transfering back to the private college nearer to my hometown. Commuting is going to save me an assload.

They include a Mem Card 59 in the box, with a special gift for your house. Usable as a normal Mem Card 59 in every other aspect.

I think you are getting this game confused with Animal Crossing.
I'll pass. I am a huge HM fan, but this game was just plain bad...
If this one's no good, is there an alternative HM game you'd recommend for a first-timer?

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for the GBA follows the successful formula for a traditional Harvest Moon game and may be better off for first time players. I play both HM:FoMT and HM:AWL myself and honestly, I like HM:AWL more.
Just picked this up at Target for $14.77, it is part of this weeks sale.
Is this confirmed? I'm looking at the Target Ad right now, and it makes no mention of Harvest Moon, just the 14.77 PC,GH,PH titles.

For those that have gotten it for this price at Target, was it marked 14.77 and did it scan for 14.77?

Yup I think it did. I'll post the receipt tonight.

Then I stand corrected and humbled for making a mistake like that.

Yes, This game is worth it although I now kind of regret spending $40 on it seeing as two months later it's $19.99. I actually really liked this Harvest Moon game and was never a real big fan of the series in the past.

This game is great, a good exclusive game for the Cube. It's too bad their third party support has dropped off the face of the earth, but this is one of their exclusive titles that shines.

Oh man! My girlfriend gave me Friends of Mineral Town for my birthday. And at E3 2003 I harassed the people at Natsume's booth about giving me the giant cow. I CAN HAVE MY OWN NOW! YESSSSSSSSSSS
Thank you Nintendo Fangirl, I just bought my copy and I am getting a free cow. Well spotted!
Nice cow pun!

Is the cow worth $5? I'm asking because I've contemplating on getting this game but I could get it for $19.99 - $5 GGC = $14.99 at Best Buy. The cow looks really cute but I'm afraid it's going to be small.

That's assuming it's universal. IS it? And that cow rocks. I've seen them up close, and they're somethign you'd sit on your computer for companionship.....yeha, that's right.

The cows sell for like 15 dollars on ebay, they are really nice, assuming these are the same ones.
