I rented it on gamefly to see for myself, beat it in like 4 hours. 0 replay value IMO to boot

I like Birdman too, but there's no Colbert in the game, the animation is a noticeable step lower and the game is fairly disjointed with no replay value.

But I guess its a matter of how much you like Birdman. If you're dubious at $25 I'd say wait a little longer.

it's like phoenix wright, but terrible. from what i read, you barely get to do anything but really stupid courtroom cross examinations.

its like watching the episode kinda. i liked it but the guy above me is right you barely get to do anything on this game. no replay value. this is good for fans of the series.

Its like Phoenix Wright except you don't read really, you just watch and listen. It breaks down the testimony into text for you to prosecute though. Pretty much what I'd expect a console version of PW to be. I never even watched the show and found the game very amusing. Its super short so if you're not a fan/collector then just go for a rental.

It's 4 hours worth of fun. So that would be $5 an hour in this case. It's fun because the writing is good and has that Harvey Birdman vibe to it but after that 4 hours it's pretty much useless. Spend the $20 on getting one of the seasons on dvd.

I'd say the show is better but none of the DVDs are a good value either. Each volume is only about 2.5 hours. It's an excellent show and a pretty good game, but it's all overpriced.

That's the same for any Adult Swim DVD set, though. And they're all worth the money--I can't count how many times I've watched Robot Chicken or ATHF after a night at the pub. They're the only shows short and rapid-fire enough to keep my friends' attention.
Hey, that's like 4 times longer than Ninjabread Man.
And only 1 / 10 the shame. But yeah the game is about 4 hours long and that's if you actually play through it without reading a guide. If you do a gamefaq on it and pick the right options all of the time then you could probably get through it in 2.5 .
