Has Amazon gotten rid of shopping lists?

I've noticed this for at least a couple weeks now, but whenever I try to check on my shopping list at Amazon, it redirects to my default wishlist. I tried Googling around for further info, but the best I came across was this thread in Amazon's Gold Box forum.

This is really annoying since I used my shopping list all the time for stuff I planned on buying myself later on; needless to say, there was plenty on it that wasn't on any of my wish lists :bomb:

Has anyone here also noticed this, or better yet, have any info as to what exactly is going on with shopping lists?

Yea, I noticed this awhile back. I tried contacting an Amazon customer service rep about it and they didn't seem to have any idea what I was referring to when I used the term "shopping list". They told me to use the Wishlist or add things to my cart and then click on Save For Later. Pretty lame!

I was frustrated with it myself, but I managed to fix it. In the end Amazon still fucked up the interface of the shopping list feature, but at least it still contains all the items you previously added to it.

Try these steps:
1. Click on "Your Lists"
2. On the left side under "Your Lists" click on "Wish List"
3. On the left side again, click on "Manage Your Lists" - a window pops up
4. You should see options like "Quick List", "Shopping List" and "Wish List", tick the circle to make the shopping list your default list.

and there you go.

I tried looking in "Manage Your Lists" last week but didn't see my Shopping List there; Wishlists and the Quicklist were present, however.

Just tried it again to see if something has changed, but nope, still not there.

I think the Shopping List option is still there...somewhat. The problem I experienced was that only certain items can be added to it, but most items cannot, so now I'm using the Wishlist instead. But last time I checked was several months ago, so it may have changed.
