Has anyone been to the bodies exhibit?

CAGiversary!
I went there with my dad and sister a few days ago. It's pretty neat but you gotta be careful what you eat afterwards because you may get grossed out. It's in Tampa right now.

If it's the same exhibit I'm thinking about, they were showing it at my high school graduation site. Pretty friggin disgusting, to be honest. We were stuck in the basement and it was all sweaty and smelly and it was just too easy to think that the corpses were rotting and we were bathing in that stench.
Yes. Disgusting.

It's just so weird because those people once had names and lives.

Yeah, I also saw it in Chicago. It was pretty cool. When I was there a little kid touched one of the exhibits and a lady next to him freaked out....lol.

This exhibit has been pretty controversial. The "artist" has even been accused of buying the corpses from medical institutions in Europe, where the deceased's loved ones have no idea that the body has left the country. Pretty shady stuff, but interesting to see the human body as von Hagens displays them in everyday poses.
