Has anyone ever traded anything in @ Amazon for a gift card?

I never have but thinking of trading this in

I emailed and Amazon CS told me I did not need the original package, so if I can get $28 it may be decent for me but not sure how this trade in thing works

If the item is rejected, who pays for shipping back?

They'll ship it back for free if they reject it.

You can choose that option at the end of the trade in screen, between keep it and give you a lower trade amount, or send it back for free.

Since it sounds like it's already probably the lowest condition available, as long as it's still functional, and nothing is visibly broken on it, you'll get something for it.
