Has Anyone Had Trouble Getting DMC3: SE?

For me it all started when I went to CC today looking to score DMC3:SE and some other games to take advantage of the B2G1FREE sale. Of course CC didn't have it. I went to another and no dice. I then drove to two different BB and nothing either. Finally I said that EB nor GS could fail me so I drove to the nearest one. On my way over there, I stopped at Gamecrazy and they told me that they are not even getting any. I arrived at EB Games and he told me that they were sold out. I then stopped at GS and they were also sold out and had no idea if they were getting any in. Finally I go home and go online to see which other GS nearest to me has a copy. I finally drove another 6 miles or so and was able to get a copy but I sure had to go through a lot of hassle.

Anyone else had problems getting this game?
 
I think it's the same situation as when Fable: TLC came out. You couldn't find it anywhere, and then about a month later, they were in steady supply.
 
so far I've only seen it at the EB near me, which is where I got it.

the TRU I work at hasn't got it in yet, and I haven't seen it at Target or Best Buy.
 
I haven't seen it in any of the "big" stores locally. But, as I mentioned in an earlier thread, most stores have an ample supply of the original version and are probably trying to clear those out before stocking the SE. I picked up my copy at EB. It was the last they had, but not gutted, thankfully.
 
Every BB should have gotten in this past Friday. If yours doesn't have it, they either still have it in back or sold out.
 
Neither this nor the original version are on Best Buy's site, and not listed in either of my two local Best Buy's systems. One of the fellas said that since that's the case, they probably weren't going to get any at all.

But if TC up there saw some, then who knows.

The GameStop by one of the Best Buy's sold out real fast, and I haven't checked since that first day. I haven't checked anywhere else because I wanted to use a $5 coupon.
 
i work at game crazy and we never, ever, recieved fable: tlc or DMC 3 sp. ed. at all.

but i picked mine up at gamestop the day it came out. my friend called me at 10 am and held a copy till i got there like at 11am. they only had 4 copies and im pretty sure they all sold that day.
 
Lots of Best Buys got DMC3:SE this past Friday, 2/3. Depending on the store, it could be located with the regular titles, or mixed in with the GH. As for the original version of DMC3, its location is mixed as well.

Copies at EB are selling quick, but you should be able to find one by calling around, good luck.
 
I couldn't find this at the first five stores I visited, so then I got smart and checked Gamestop's website for availability. I had no problem finding a copy this way.

While I was buying the game, the Gamestop clerk said they had gotten around 25 copies of the game. I found this interesting since the sold-out Gamestop I had visited earlier said they had only received 2.
 
I saw a whole stack of them at Target.

I think it depends on where you look but I have seen it at retail. I just assumed it would be everywhere else, this is the first I heard about it being hard to find.
