Hastings will be having midnight release parties on 11/10 (Monday) and 11/12 (Wedneday) for Call of Duty: World at War and World of Warcraft: Wrath of Lich King respectively. This is at all Hastings locations!

From 10 PM to Midnight on these nights all used games, movies, and music will be 30% off.

Also, during the Call of Duty release party (11/10), there will be B1G1 on select Blu-Ray movies.

Hastings stores are usually found in small to medium size cities. Check GoHastings.com for locations.

I used to get excited about this sale, but their used prices suck so bad especially on dvds. They are still wanting 80 bucks for used STar Trek dvd sets.

Nearly invariably they'll only have pre-played games for sale, which in Hastings' weird universe is different than used. And to which the coupon won't apply.

Hastings is an odd little store, that's for sure. It's the only place I've ever seen to have so many price variations on one item! There it always pays to dig to the back of a stack of games, because 9 times out of 10 you'll probably find one with a different price (and sometimes 2-3 different prices). Very inconsistent, but sometimes it works in your favor!
Any idea which blu-rays will be "selected"?
Sadly, no. The email I received just used the word "selected." It may depend on a store-by-store basis.

I've noticed that also sgaldis211. You can often find the same game with different prices. I hope they have a decent selection of blu-rays. Im also hoping someone is crazy enough to trade in Little BP or Fallout 3.

man, i saw this in the ad in yesterday's paper, but my dumb gf threw it away. i called a few hastings and they have no idea what i'm talking about

i called up my hastings and they said they were combining the two release parties on wednesday and they canceled for the one tonight..

mine said the same thing... said they probably won't do the bogo blu-ray deal too, because he said it didn't say anything in his ad

Just confirmed my Hasting's is doing the midnight release, and with the used sale. Gonna have to go check it out at 10...hopefully my copy of Alone in the Dark (Wii) will stay hidden away until then!
My hastings has decent stock, but their shit is soooo overpriced it's not even funny.
Get them to scan it. It almost always scans for cheaper. I've seen stuff marked $49.99 ring up $4.99. None of the prices "vary" (There's only three categories of prices - new, used, and PV, also known as 'ex-rentals'), they aren't "inconsistent", it's a bunch of lazy employees that don't update the prices. If they get Condemned 2 a week after it being released and tag it used $53.99, then get it six months later and tag it $26.99, it's very possible that you'll see the $53.99 tag because no one bothered to update the prices.

this doesn't work at my hastings. employees only scan the price stickers that have bar codes, rather than the actual bar code on the game itself. i was told "whatever is on the sticker is what we scan"
