So I thought I'd go trade in my Dead Rising, along with some GBA games, because no one has been interested in trading for it. Well I figured I would go to my local CD Wherehouse because they're one of the few places to give cash. So the cashier scans all games and tells me I can get $36 for the following:
- Dead Rising
- Mario Golf Advance Tour
- Nightmare Before Xmas
- Ham-Ham Games
- Dragon Ball GT Video
I figured I wouldn't get much for the GBA games, but I expected more for Dead Rising. Well after this disappointment I headed to Hastings and it got worse. They don't take GBA games, so I only could trade DR. Like I said it got worse, they offered me $11.xx cash or $11.xx on a gift card. How
ed up is this. I know Trade-in shops have always stolen from the gamer in regards to trades, but this is absurd. If I opted to trade in DR the next day this game would have a stickered price of at least $49.99; most likely $54.99. I rarely trade in games outside of deals like the "3 for extra $10" and it looks like for now on I will only trade during promotions.
