This question goes out to the guys here. You know what I mean... the thing is that. I have been having trouble like....getting it up.... which is concerning to me. I'm a teenager too so it's not like I'm getting old. I dunno, is this normal? Have you guys ever experienced this?
 
Maybe you're stressed out or something. Have you been eating right? If I were you I would just relax, maybe catch some porn. If it doesn't come back on its own then maybe you should see a doctor.
 
Is this only when your with a woman? Or when you are by yourself too?

Seriously, I had an issue for about a week, where no matter what I did, when I was with my girlfriend, I'd lose it. Odds are, your putting too much pressure on yourself, and it compounds now that you think it's going to happen.

There are 2 ways to fix it that should work

1) Have no intention of having sex. Just both sit there (naked), and fool around. But, never have it get to that stage. After about 20 minutes (and no pressure that you're going to do anything), odds are you'll be fine. If not, no pressure, since you're not going to do anything.

2) Get a blind fold and blindfold yourself. Let your woman do whatever she wants to you then. Once again, 20 minutes of this, and you'll be fine.

It could always be something serious, but I doubt it. Just relax, and everything should be fine.

Seriously... Stress will do this. Do you still find your girl attractive physically? Do you wake up with wood? Do you not get stimulated at all or do you collapse when going to penetrate? Have you ever found yourself attracted to another man? er... =P
 
Are you DRINKING ALCOHOL when trying to get it up.....that always can have an adverse effect.

Or, taking ephedra or other stay awake type pills can screw with you.
 
The only time this has ever happened to me is when doing it for the 4th time inside 2 hours. :lol: It's probably stress or anxiety related - don't worry too much about it unless it persists...
 
Chances are you are trying way to hard to keep it up, and you're thinking about it and being paranoid which is causes you to not keep it up. It happens bro, just chill out and try not to think about it.
 
I have been under a lot of stress recently. I've been working really hard and haven't been sleeping much. This isn't the only problem I've been having (I haven't even been enjoying playing games... *shock*) but this one was the most concering cause it was a physical problem. I'll take your advice and try and relax a bit. Thanks guys!

I never had any trouble getting and keeping it up while inebriated during my younger days. Youthful exuberance has a way of proving such myths false. :D
 
get some exercise. run away from your ugly girlfriend (if that is the case). stop thinking about sports and thinking about nookie.
 
I've failed to get it up twice...


1. Drunk. I should have been sleeping, not atempting sex.

2. Nervous. When I was fourteen I was so nervous because I had a chance with one of the hottest girls at school.


So, don't worry it happens to a lot of people, you'll get over it. I don't think you have a medical disorder, you just need to relax and get some sleep, you'll be fine.
 
Wow..I'm kinda suprised at all the mature answers coming from CAGs. I thought the OP would be ridiculed by some idiots here but its good to know there are some grown up people in this forum.
 
Nah, I've asked tons of personal questions on CAG before. Whether it be female advice, this topic or others. I made this topic because I knew how nice everyone is around here. IdiotFAQs is another story however...

I personally have never had a probelm getting "excited" but I too have heard stress is usually the problem.

I think that is your answer right there. Get a good night's sleep and I bet you would be fine.

Biology likes to be efficient. It has a 'use it or lose it' policy with a lot of things. If your business doesnt get any action for a long time, the response may dull a little. I remember when I didnt have any business for 6 months, I got worried because the response sort of died.

As for OP, just don't worry about it. When you're a teenager, things tend to fix themselves (like my problems)...
 
I usually don't have a problem getting it up but sometimes I get bored and can't really reach orgasm. Maybe the chicks I'm sleeping with aren't hot enough?
