HD loader ..Advance where to buy??

Hey i was just wondering where a good place is to buy a new sealed HD loader or HD advance....i know consolesouce.com is just fake copies so plz tell me the places u bought urs from and if it was legit!

Also how is foundmy.com?????

Consolesouce nowdays sells bootlegs of HDLoader, I know because I ordered two and I recieved bootlegs. Also I know several people on the IGN boards that also got bootlegs from consolesource..

.. anyway it does not really matter where you buy your HD Loader now, because the first "genuine" release is out of print. Pretty much all places now sell the el-cheapo bootlegs, and yes HD Advance is in my opinion also a bootleg.

See this photo, the first is the genuine release, the second two are the cheap bootlegs now in circulation (worse print and disc quality).

The last one when booted even has the bootscreen and menues from the cracked "free ps2ownz version", so yea that one is easy to spot.. except for the packaging that looks almost identic to the genuine one, even the barcode is there :lol:


Oh and pimpinc333 if you are unable to track down a genuine HD Loader, then I advice you just get HD Advance instead (it is a better deal than buying one of the bootlegged HD Loaders).

Y not just download the ps2ownz version? I think it can fit on a cd, so u should have no problem there if u have a cd burner

Funny, all three I got from consolesource.com appear legit even though the second two were purchased after the product was killed.

I bought mine a day or two after the product was killed and got a bootleg from consolsource. I can only assume that they ran out shortly after your order, epobirs.

They just sold off thier remaining genuine stock and then started selling bootlegs because it was all they could get, there really isnt a difference between the two (beyond appearance) Or did I miss something?

^^ Even if you would/could burn it, it would not boot on a stock PS2..


Functionality is no different, but the bootlegs have a bit worse print quality and some PS2's may have trouble reading them.

HD Advance is just the Loader with swap magic discs. I've heard that this function (import ripping) is even present in the Loader

I bought a so called "bootleg" from him. It works fine, so I could really care less. Lets put it this way: it doesn't ing matter. Nothing else said will change that.
