HDD Transfer Questions

Hello CAG,

I'm fairly new around these parts and really appreciate the great community here. Can someone help me out?

I've a near-launch Xbox360 whose poor 20gb hard drive is nearly full. I'm tired of deleting game-add ons every time I want to download something new on Live and would like to buy a new 250gb drive.

I know a transfer cable exists and it's a one time movement of all that is on my original drive to the new one. I've heard that if you do this transfer, you can only play the arcade games you've downloaded while logged into Live. Is this true?

Any other things I should consider when making this leap?

Yes. However, you can do a once per year license transfer that will allow you to continue to play while not connected to LIVE.
