Is the one the OP posted a ton better then this one?[/quote]
I use this one as well, it works just great. If you're running up to 1080i, these are perfect. The net jacket versions are rated for 1080p, but the super-testing guy (see major review @ monoprice) says they both work great up to 1080p.
If you plunked down the extra ton of cash for a 1080p HDTV, I'd probably say spend the extra $5, otherwise you'll be plenty happy.
[quote name='gimmepilotwings']Uh, listing Monoprice should be a sticky.
Finding an HDMI cable for around $10 is not a deal, it is their everyday price.[/QUOTE]
Actually, I think it is a sale. Sure, the 28AWG 6ft cable is always about $10 shipped, but this topic is about the super-thick net-jacket 24AWG 6ft cable.
Code:
HDMI to HDMI CL2 Rated Cable (24AWG) w/ net jacket- 3ft - $14.97
HDMI to HDMI CL2 Rated Cable (24AWG) w/ net jacket- 6ft - $11.97
HDMI to HDMI CL2 Rated Cable (24AWG) w/ net jacket -10ft - $20.31
See? Cheaper than the 3 foot, and all for what appears to be bulk pricing at any quantity.
