HDTV Help (urgent)

Sup guys, this is my first post here (yay)

Anyway I need help and I figured this was the place to go. I am thinking about buying a 32 inch 1080i/720p HDTV for my PS3 but I want to know if I should wait it out and possibly get one that is 1080p. Is the difference between the 2 type of TV's really that much different?

At 32'' you don't really need 1080p. You may notice a small difference, but it will be a very small difference.

I would wait to get a bigger size and 1080p.. the bigger the size the more noticeable the difference.

I am putting the TV in my bedroom and my bedroom is pretty small so I think I am already sort stretching it with a 32 incher =/

IMHO, I'd stick with a 1080i/720p set if you're looking to get a 32". I'm no expert, but I have done some basic research, and the consensus seems to be that you'll notice only the slightest difference at this size, if any difference at all. Seeing as how 1080p will run you an extra $200 or more, it would be a waste. Spend the extra money on some games and don't look back.

Yeah thats what I am leaning towards but I'm still not to sure

1080p is a definite waste at this size unless you plan on sitting 1 ft away from your TV. 720p is perfectly fine for the 32".

1080p doesn't really matter until you get into the high 30s low 40s range.

Closer to 5' to see a difference but Vinny's right - unless you're going to use it as a PC monitor along with games/TV, the 720p set is fine.

Forgo the 1080, but consider a 37" if you're viewing it from farther than 6' away. (Just personal preference)
