That's how I felt after watching the "Best of He-Man 10 Episode Collectors Edition". I picked it up in a Wal-Mart dump bin for $7, I think.
It was pretty much ridiculous and I couldnt' make it through two episodes. It's still fun for nostalgia purposes, but I wouldn't commit to a whole season.

I'm not pooping on anybody's party here, but I'm just warning folks. It's not as good as you remember. Check out the first season, maybe, before committing to the ENTIRE SERIES. Don't say I didn't warn you!
 
Actually, I was pretty sure it was going to be worse than I remember.
It was fairly ridiculous to me back then, so I was actually surprised it was just as I remembered it after watching a few episodes. No worse and no better.
I'm kinda enjoying it. :)
 
Are either new He-Man shows any good. I thought I remembered the one from the '90s as being crap (this is that one, no?). And is this the original She-Ra? They didn't re-do that did they? I like the original He-Man and She-Ra...
 
best buy in fort wayne cracked down on the 3 buck off coupon. they know it has to be on the chip wrapper.


AT least i got

ALL 3 sets of she ra and the entire season 1 of he man for 38 bucks : )

Grabbed both Masters of the Universe Season Two sets.

I'll get the two She-Ra sets I need when I get some more money.

Annoyed we never got beyond season 1 on the New Adventures cartoon. I know people shit on it but they had some awesome stuff planned for season 2 (including the return of a lot of characters from the O.G. series) that never panned out because they were cancelled.

Forget about buying it if you ever think this will come down to 5 bucks. These sets were out at 40 to 50 dollars when they first came out and BCI did a bang up job on this. For ten bucks, this is one of the best values for tv on dvd stuff.

Scored all 4 Vol of Original He-Man series.. contemplating She-Ra... Is this a permanent mark down? Or just temperary.. know its been going on for at least 3 weeks now...
 
They sent me Vol 1 for Season 1 when I ordered Vol 1 for Season 2...now what happens if/when they're sold out in stores when I go to exchange it? :bomb: Lame.
 
if anyone is looking i got a all 3 of she-ra box sets. Forgot to take the extra ones back and now its past 30 days..

Picked up 3 then went back and grabbed 3 more using my Best buy bucks and forgot about taking the other 3 sets back.... Suck best buy has a 30 day return. I found the dvds on the 32nd day and they refused to take them back..
