I got my God of War demo in the mail and it had a coupon for $15 off a new slim model at Best Buy. It might be worth it if anyone is waiting to grab one or might be soon.
 
Thanks for the tip. Still haven't got my demo yet. I wonder if Circuit City will honor the competitor's coupon so I can get a 10% off membership discount card.

They won't budge on the 10% off card - it's a value pack according to them, not a system (I tried back in Sept)

So, you are on a mailing list through Sony and get demos sent to you. I do not get PSP related demos (or haven't yet at least) but I would still like to be offered a coupon. Assuming you already have a PSP and registered it, that would mean Sony/Best But is/are just trying to get current owners to take the plunge by giving them $15 off. Where is the new adopter love? :p

That coupon discount would be just the push I need to grab the slim core set and give up on my adoration of the Felicia Blue import. (especially due to the price difference after coupon) Eh. I'm going to be giving Sony money someday soon regardless of whether or not I get a coupon for a system I have yet to purchase.

OT: Anyone here actually import one? I know we are a cheap ass community but the other colors available in Japan are just so damn pretty. How are they? I'm assuming most of them are perfectly fine but I keep reading stories of dead or stuck pixels etc and it is putting me off the importing urge.

See, $169.99 - $15 = 154.99 + tax but the coupon basically wipes out the tax in my state (NY). I doubt i can get this pricematched i'll likely be waiting for a deal on the slim :(
 
Just picked up the PSP Slim (Ice Silver) Daxter bundle for $189.99 shipped at Buy.com, found a 5% off coupon and since i can't use the $15 off Best Buy coupon this is a pretty good deal considerin no tax :)
 
Anyone got one? I've got a $55 BB gift card and am considering a PSP-- this would seal the deal. Please PM me (or direct to where I can find a scan or something) :)
 
Anyone know if this $15 coupon works online? I havent gotten mine in the mail yet, if it wont work online then my coupon will be up for grabs since it'll cost me $15 in gas to get to a best buy.

btw i signed up for the demo and got confirmation and i dont have a psp yet
 
I believe the expiration date is 11/30, IIRC. I'm wondering if there will be a black friday deal on one at BB to use this with.
 
coupon does not seem to work by scanning. Their computer will scan it but it won't take the $15 off. You have to have the cashier manually take the $15 off. This goes for the bundles and the core system.
