To start off, sorry if this is in the wrong area, It relates to video games and saw other things in random spots about headsets.

Looking for a well built 360 headset, would be great if they work on pc/ps3 as well, I've gone through about 8 of the 10-30$ headsets and I break them repeatly, ducktape, Glue, Melting back together, etc, but they wont last.

I'll go all out up to 200$ for one that'll last.

Thinking about

crap cant post links,
I was thinking about Ear Force X41 but there cheapest headset broke on both sides the same week for me.
Was looking at Sharkoon X-Tatic True 5.1 and Tritton AX Pro Dolby Digital Precision Gaming Headset, both seem to look pretty thick/tough.

Any recommendations about those or another?

Requirements:
1.Works for Xbox 360 (not one that uses white/red audio cables though somehow, had issues with those)
2.Tough. Maybe good warranty/replacement?

meh, I cant believe im considering buying that... Should be getting a couple hundred this month pretty easy...I like the fact that its made well instead of just plastic. I've spent over 200+ on headsets anyways, Might as well get a quality one that'll last.. Warrenty appears to be only a year.. but that would be a record for me.

Make sure you read up on it first and all, check out reviews etc...

I don't think you can go wrong with those, but that's often how I go about shopping for gaming related stuff as well -- if I'm going to spend a lot of money on something, I might as well go all out (well, in budget conscious way). I hear the Trittons are good too, not sure if you've already looked at those or not (they are $130 on Amazon?)...

If you do get a beastly headset though, take good care of it -- have a place to hang them or something after you're done gaming.

Yeah, Looked at all the trittons models, My concern there was some people main complaint was it wearing out on the frame for them, and thats the whole reason of getting one, I've spent at least a couple hundred on cheap headsets for pc/360..They add up to be alot, gonna see which ones i can find that arent already trashed and get a photo of them.

The Earforce are a joke, Broke both ear pieces on it in a week, just from putting it on because of the failure adjustable sides/rotating stuff. the more expensive version of those have the same exact design so i see no hope for them.

Yeah, If i ever paid that much for just a headset, I'd put a Shielf/case/thing to hang it up on the wall all by its self, Damn things cost same/more then an xbox 360 after shipping/rechargable battery pack.

So yeah, currently my last 2 headsets, still using the Earforce one....

So far I think i might go with ASTRO MixAmp™ 5.8, would make some stuff i want work out exactly + its on sale till the 22nd

As for headset, I think I might actually go with ear buds, I always preferred them over headsets anyways, i have a big head/lots of curly hair so headphones would always get stuck/hot so that might work out best + wouldn't have any problems with the astro in the works with it.
Klipsch Image S4i Earbud with a mic Maybe, still looking, should cost under 200 though then, anyone else have an Astro MixAmp? Any good recommendations for earbuds/mic of good quality.
