So with the new generation of consoles coming out, I've been looking for a new gaming TV for quite a while. My current TV has no HDMI inputs and only supports 720p, it's also got some mild image retention... so I think it's about time to upgrade.
Problem is, I'm not very knowledgeable about TVs.
I'm looking for a TV strictly for gaming. Right now, I have my Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, SNES, PS2 and Dreamcast hooked up to my current TV. I want to be able to connect my older consoles to the new TV as well. I'm pretty sure I need at least one composite cable and one component cable. I'm also on a $500-600 budget.
This is the TV I'm looking at.

I see that it mentions "1 x composite video / component video / audio input ( RCA phono x 5 ) - rear" under 'connection types'.
Does that mean I can use that input for either composite or component? If not, is there a way I could connect multiple composite and component consoles to this TV?
Thanks for your help
